1,878,581 pounds of fresh, local produce rescued from SLO County farms and backyards since 2010!

As of May 1st, we are starting up GleanSLO harvests once again!

Please note: Due to social distancing measures, and in order to maximize quantities of produce donated through GleanSLO, we will be prioritizing larger harvests with commercial growers and private residential properties. If you are looking to donate food crops to the food bank, please contact Emily Wilson at to arrange a donation.
With immense gratitude,
The GleanSLO Team

If you are hoping to support our efforts during this time, please consider making a monetary donation to the food bank here.

Through the act of harvesting and sharing food, we connect and nourish our community to build stronger relationships and a deeper appreciation for our food.

Glean: to harvest or collect leftover fruits and vegetables that would otherwise go to waste.
